Creating takes courage.

eyes up

Society has told us that pursuing art is silly, and that if we are not famous then we are failures.

If you are like me, you grew up internalizing beliefs like:

  1. you are not talented enough

  2. you are too old

  3. work is supposed to be toiling

  4. art is a hobby

  5. art is selfish

  6. people will think you’re weird

Hi! I’m Caroline, an artist and musician who leashed myself to this mountain for too long.

I write here about what it was like to stumble-jump off of it. How I’ve flown (and flailed) gracefully, in spite of self-doubt.

I’m uncovering and dismantling our fears layer by layer, and sharing about it with weekly confidence and courage cultivators.

For wanna-be creators who fear the judgment that may come.

For wait-and-see creators plagued by streams that art is dumb.

For long and leashed creators doing what they don’t want to.

You’re good enough. You’re brave enough. I write this shit for you.

If you are looking for a weekly dose of empowerment to send you in the direction of your dreams, you’ve found the right place!

About Me

Hi! I’m so happy to see you! My name is Caroline, and I am a 42-year-old singer, songwriter and pop-sensation (self declared).

In early 2024, I stepped back from my lawyer job to finally do what I had always wanted, write and create a full-time and now its my mission to help others find the courage to live their dreams too.
